Players code of Conduct - Account suspension in detail


"No man is above the law and no man is below it..."


The following rules apply to all players and anyone using the WoW Sea service. Any attempt to break the rules will result in character and/or account suspension. If you find anyone violating any rules, please report it to a WoW Sea Admin/Game Master or email support@wowseas<dot>com.

We encourage everyone to respect one another, act humanely, and be as civilized as possible.


1. Use of Bots or Third-Party Software:
  • Using bots, cheats, or any automation software that provides an unfair advantage in gameplay. This includes programs that automate actions or alter game mechanics.
    • Permanent account suspension - Cannot be appeal

2. Exploitation of Game Mechanics:
  • Engaging in activities that exploit game mechanics, such as using glitches or bugs to gain an advantage. This includes unauthorized cheat programs and hacks or exploit bugs that hasn't got patch.
    • Permanent account suspension - Cannot be appeal

3. PvP Non-Participation:
  • Players who consistently do not participate in PvP events, such as AFKing (being inactive) during Battlegrounds or Arenas. Please do not participate the BG if you feel that you are not ready.
    • Temporary account suspension

4. Real Money Transactions (RMT):
  • Involvement in real money trading, whether directly or indirectly, can result in account suspensions. This includes selling gold or services for real money.
    • Permanent account suspension - Cannot be appeal

5. Account Sharing and Unauthorized Access:
  • Sharing accounts or accessing another player's account without permission is strictly prohibited.
    • Temporary account suspension

6. Persistent Abuse Towards Other Players:
  • Harassment, abusive language, or other forms of disruptive behavior towards fellow players. This includes toxic behavior in chat and gameplay: name-calling, being rude or offensive to other players, spamming the trade chat (or another other public channel), advertising in-game boosts or carries, having an offensive character name, racism and hate speech, threatening other players or staff members, or revealing other players personal information.
    • Players may receive penalties/final warning and follow by temporary account suspension, may also lead to permanent ban

7. Mass Reporting and False Positives:
  • Sometimes, players may be wrongfully suspended due to mass reporting by others or false positives from detection systems.
    • Temporary account suspension - Can be appeal

8. Disruptive Gameplay:
  • Actions that disrupt the experience of others, such as intentionally losing games or sabotaging team efforts in PvP, or cross faction grouping.
    • Players may receive penalties/final warning and follow by temporary account suspension, may also lead to permanent ban

9. Violation of Terms of Service:
  • Any action that violates the game's Terms of Service can result in account penalties, including using unauthorized modifications or engaging in prohibited activities

10. Compromised Accounts:
  • Accounts that have been compromised may be suspended as part of preventative measures against exploitation until ownership is verified by Admin
